Lab Technician In-Charge

We are hiring a skilled and responsible Lab Technician In-Charge for a multi-specialty hospital in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for supervising hospital laboratory operations, ensuring accurate diagnostic reporting, maintaining NABL standards, and coordinating with doctors and hospital management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee hospital laboratory daily operations
• Supervise lab technicians, junior staff, and phlebotomists
• Ensure accurate sample collection, processing, testing, and reporting
• Handle biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, pathology tests
• Maintain quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures
• Ensure compliance with NABL, NABH, and hospital safety protocols
• Operate and maintain automated lab analyzers and equipment
• Validate and authorize laboratory test reports
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and hospital departments
• Maintain lab records, SOPs, audits, and documentation
• Manage inventory, reagents, consumables, and vendor coordination
• Ensure infection control, patient safety, and biomedical waste management
• Assist during emergency and critical care diagnostics

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of hospital laboratory processes
• Experience in clinical diagnostics and lab supervision
• Familiarity with NABL & NABH hospital standards
• Hands-on experience with LIMS and automated analyzers
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and reporting accuracy
• Ability to handle emergency hospital workloads

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹33,740.19 per month
