Lab Technician & Mix Room Assistant

Oasis Lifestyle is a fast-growing company, seeking a self-motivated, disciplined, team-oriented individual to work in the role of Lab Technician.

The Lab Technician position serves to test and inspect the quality of incoming raw materials and final product. This position is very hands-on in both a lab setting and the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with laboratory procedures to test incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests and rejecting unacceptable materials.
• Analyze Lab Samples
• Mix Resin and catalysts in the correct proportions to create chemical solutions
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Measuring performance to prove adjustments’ results
• Ability to effectively communicate with production personnel
• Assisting in continuous improvement projects
• The position will be held accountable for the work area’s housekeeping.
• Organization of the work area tools and documents
• The position is also responsible for operating under safe guidelines and wearing proper personal protective equipment.
• Teamwork, professionalism and respect for co-workers are imperative traits of the position.
• Must be detail-oriented
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Physical demands are required to carry out the job:

• Traverse the work area throughout the day
• Must be able to stand for an entire workday and remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Occasionally positions self in crouching or bending position to perform various tasks
• Ability to lift 55lbs

Position reports to Operations Excellence Analyst.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
