Lab Technician & Sample Data Entry

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

About Universal Seed LLC: Universal Seed LLC (USC) is a third-party production company. We work with local growers throughout Oregon and Washington to provide high quality vegetable seed to our customers all over the world. Our laboratory also conducts service testing for customers who need seed quality testing.

About the position: Our seed testing lab is looking for additional help to enter sample test results, pull samples as needed from completed lots, plant germination tests, and prepare seed samples for other testing. Our lab utilizes a custom-built Access database for lab results. Experience with Microsoft office products is helpful but not required. We can train in sampling procedures and sample preparation on the job. Seed testing knowledge is useful but not required. All processes are completed according to written work instructions.

Schedule: Our operations take place in-person at our lab with regular hours between 7 and 3:30, Monday – Friday.

Employment Terms:

• Start date: October

Salary: $16.00-17.00 per hour
