ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Connecticut Valley Addiction Recovery Inc (CVARI) provides outpatient substance use disorder treatment services, including medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. CVARI’s care model includes medical care, individual and group counseling, comprehensive toxicology testing and case management

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Responsibilities:
• Perform laboratory tests and experiments using various laboratory techniques
• Collect, analyze, and interpret scientific data
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and results
• Prepare samples and specimens for testing
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Urine specimen processing and storage: may include collection
• Instrument maintenance, calibration, and quality control
• Specimen analysis and result reporting within required specimen stability period
• Quality assurance
• Maintain accessible and organized records.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Reports to Lab Director
• Works directly with Technical Consultant
• Work cooperatively with staff to promote smooth workflow in office to maximize patient care and efficiency.
• Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri with potential for additional hours.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of a high school diploma
• Strong mathematical skills for data analysis and calculations
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of scientific research principles and methodologies
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong attention to detail.

SALARY: $18-$20 per hour

PART-TIME: 24 Hours/ bi-weekly pay period

LOCATION: White River Junction, VT
