Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood, urine, stool, and other samples from patients following standard procedures.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis and ensure proper labeling.
- Conduct diagnostic tests such as CBC, lipid profile, blood sugar, liver/kidney function tests, etc.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, hematology analyzers, and biochemistry analyzers.
- Record and analyze test results and communicate findings to the supervising doctor or lab in-charge.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the lab in compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment regularly.
- Store specimens and samples properly to ensure accurate testing.
- Maintain patient records and laboratory documentation accurately.
- Ensure adherence to NABL or other regulatory standards (if applicable).
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT)
- Valid certification from Kerala Paramedical Council (if applicable)
- 1–3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred (freshers may be considered for entry-level roles)
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality standards
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is a plus
