Lab Transcriptionist

Job Purpose: Transcribes and distributes a variety of anatomic pathology reports. Maintains files and records. Responds to clients request for information. Works closely with Pathologists to insure accurate and timely reports are produced. Will serve as an assistant to Histology Department and Laboratory Office.

Education: Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: No prior experience required - three (3) months of on-the-job training is provided.
