Laboratory Analyst – Night Shift

IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Laboratory Analyst – Night Shift position at its facility in Paulsboro, NJ.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:
– A BS or BA in the biological sciences or related field (required)
– Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
– Strong attention to detail

Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation, and other duties as assigned.

The pay rate for this position is $20.00 – $22.00 hourly (plus $2 night shift differential during night time hours from 10pm-6am). This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).

The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 11pm – 7am.
