Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Data collection and interpretation as well as being responsible for performing routine chemical testing of samples in a laboratory setting.
Collect and prepare samples of recycled materials for analysis.
Perform basic laboratory tests and assays to determine the composition and quality of precious metals.
Maintain accurate records of sample collection, testing procedures, and results.
Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained.
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines related to handling valuable materials.
Assist senior lab personnel with analytical procedures and reporting as needed.
Support quality control and process improvement initiatives.
Familiar with lab safety and good laboratory practice
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Must have experience with analytical balances, pipettes, volumetric glassware, XRF, OR ICP-OES is a plus
Bachelor's degree highly preferred in a Science related field, Biology, Physics or Chemistry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
