Laboratory Assistant

Daisuki Advanced Technology Inc. is an early-stage photonics and infrared detector company focused on developing high-performance detector technologies and related photonics products for spectroscopy, sensing, industrial, medical, and scientific applications.

We are seeking a careful and responsible Laboratory Assistant / R&D Technician to support daily laboratory operations and assist with experimental work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic laboratory preparation, cleaning, and organization.
• Prepare materials, tools, glassware, and supplies for experiments.
• Support chemical handling, sample preparation, weighing, labeling, and documentation.
• Assist with crystal/material processing, polishing, assembly preparation, and sample packaging.
• Help maintain inventory of chemicals, consumables, lab supplies, and equipment.
• Record experimental observations and organize lab data.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
• Support shipping, receiving, and sample tracking.
• Assist with basic equipment operation after proper training.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, materials science, engineering, biology, or a related field preferred.
• Prior laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be careful, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions.
• Good attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
• Comfortable working with chemicals and laboratory equipment after proper training.
• Must be able to work onsite in Bordentown, NJ.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
