Laboratory Assistant

Nature of Work - This is an entry-level position in the Laboratory Support Section. Duties include receiving and processing incoming specimens for laboratory testing, entering demographic and specimen data into the laboratory information management system (LIMS), and performing data entry checks on data entered into the LIMS. May include work in preparing specimen and sample collection kits,. Duties are performed under close supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
