Position Requirements:

• Ability to interact with co-workers in a team environment, promoting a harmonious and cooperative working environment.
• Effectively communicate with all personnel to exchange accurate and timely technical information.
• May assist in communication to customers, departments, or physicians regarding problems and/or specimen issues.
• Protects sensitive and confidential information
• Adheres to company policies and standards regarding security and safety
• Completes assigned courses and training on an annual basis
• Available to work during disasters
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

• High School or GED
• Applicable experience may substitute for education

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification is not required, but is desirable

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

• 1-3 years in healthcare preferred
