Laboratory Office Assistant / Lab Technician (Entry Level)

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Office Assistant / Lab Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in laboratory operations and scientific workflow, even without prior lab experience. We provide full training—no college degree required.

Key Responsibilities

• Log incoming samples into LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) accurately and efficiently
• Assist clients with questions, sample submissions, and general support
• Record test results in LIMS and help generate reports
• Learn and perform basic laboratory tests under supervision
• Prepare lab media and basic reagents
• Clean and maintain glassware and help maintain an organized workspace
• Light cleaning and organization

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain documentation
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
• Basic computer skills, strong typing
• Pass background check and drug screening

Preferred (but not required)

• Prior experience in a laboratory or administrative setting
• Prior knowledge of basic chemistry and lab safety
• Familiarity with LIMS
• Limited weekend work required

Pay: $600.00 - $720.00 per week
