  • Assist in the development and optimization of solution-based material preparation processes
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as mass balances, pH meters, titration setups, mixers, coaters, and gloveboxes
  • Conduct precise measurements, calculations, and documentation using standard laboratory instruments
  • Maintain laboratory environmental standards, chemical inventories, and safety data sheet (SDS) records
  • Execute equipment maintenance and calibration according to manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Assist in sourcing chemical reagents and laboratory supplies from economical vendors
  • Adhere to strict chemical safety protocols, waste disposal regulations, and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Associate Degree with relevant laboratory experience, or BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in solution chemistry, wet chemical processing, or related laboratory techniques is required
  • Familiarity with chemical handling, dilution, titration, and solution preparation procedures
  • Experience with battery material mixing, coating, or electrolyte preparation is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of chemical safety standards, proper PPE usage, and hazardous waste handling
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and records
  • Experience operating and maintaining common laboratory instruments (balances, pH meters, pipettes, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal experimental protocols

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary starting from $40,000 per year, commensurate with experience
