Position Overview We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support sample preparation of cannabis products for compliance testing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented laboratory professional who thrives in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preparation of samples for analytical testing
• Assist in the collection of samples from customer sites
• As assigned, support laboratory processes and operations improvement projects
• As assigned, assist with the upkeep of quality management system elements and our training program
• Clean and maintain the laboratory and equipment
• Perform other laboratory and clerical duties including data entry, filing, and supply inventory as needed

Skills and Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Strong time management skills; ability to quickly learn laboratory and computer applications
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and ability to work independently and within a team
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments
• Must be available to work an occasional night or weekend as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory environment
• Experience with instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, GCMS, or ICP-MS
• Prior laboratory experience (1 year preferred)
• Degree in chemical, biological, or life sciences from an accredited university
