Laboratory Technician - Manipal Hospital, Mysore

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine laboratory tests and analyses.
• Prepare specimens and samples according to standard protocols.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., microscopes, centrifuges, analyzers).
• Record, analyze, and interpret data accurately.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and results.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and adhere to safety and quality control standards.
• Assist senior scientists or medical professionals with experiments and research projects.
• Manage inventory and order lab supplies as needed.
• Comply with all regulatory and safety guidelines (e.g., OSHA, GLP, HIPAA if applicable).

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or related field.
• Prior lab experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and laboratory information systems (LIS), if applicable.
