Description:
Maintain a clean and orderly workplace, deliver materials to various departments, provide support as necessary to various departments.
Essential Duties:
- OPERATE EQUIPMENT SUCH AS FORKLIFT AFTER TRAINING PROGRAM AND CERTIFICATION
- USING BROOMS, SHOVELS, HOPPERS, & CLEANING SUPPLIES, CLEAN AREAS OF DEBRIS, SAND, ETC.
- EMPTY TRASH CONTAINERS (55gaL Drums) INTO HOPPERS, EMPTY HOPPERS INTO DISPOSAL BINS
- REMOVES AND PROPERLY DISPOSES OF PALLETS AND SHOP WASTE
- KEEP LUNCHROOM CLEAN
- MAINTAIN ACCURATE INVENTORY OF SHOP SUPPLIES
- SUPPORT ALL SHOP DEPARTMENTS BY PROVIDING NESSASARY SHOP SUPPLIES
- MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND ORGANIZED WORK ENVIRONMENT
- SUPPORT FOUNDRY OPERATIONS AS REQUIRED WITH GENERAL LABOR TASKS
- PERFORMS DUTIES ACCORDING TO WORK INSTRUCTIONS AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
- OBSERVES SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- WORKS INDOORS AND OUTDOORS DURING ALL SEASONS
ENTRY LEVEL POSITION AT FOUNDRY, FROM WHICH EMPLOYEE CAN BID (BY SENIORITY AND JOB QUALIFICATIONS) TO OTHER JOBS.
