About Us: Southwest Mobile Storage specializes in modifying storage containers for sale or lease. We take pride in our ability to provide high-quality, customized portable storage solutions while delivering outstanding customer service. We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated General Laborer to join our hardworking shop team in Tucson, where communication and teamwork thrive. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our portable storage containers to ensure they are in top condition and ready for customer use.

Responsibilities:

• Refurbish containers and offices, including cleaning exteriors and interiors, rust removal, floor repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Use powered hand tools, including grinders and paint machines, for various refurbishment tasks.
• Perform light carpentry, including digging, cutting, caulking, and assembly of equipment for rental purposes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation in English.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols while using equipment and performing physical tasks.
• Additional job duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to twist, kneel, and climb ladders.
• Work performed in an outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience in general labor or maintenance repairs.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (grinders, saws, etc.).
• Welding experience and/or 25T Forklift certification is a plus!!
• Reliable, self-disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with teammates effectively.
