Duties

• Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move materials and finished products safely within the facility
• Support assembly line activities by assembling components according to technical drawings and production documents
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment following strict safety protocols to transport materials across the site
• Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments to ensure products meet manufacturing standards
• Follow safety standards in production environments, adhering to lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives
• Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents to support mechanical assembly and process accuracy

Experience

• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to manage manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
