Position: Maintenance Crew Member
Location: Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi
Reports To: Maintenance Crew Lead

Position Overview:
The General Maintenance Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the integrity and the aesthetic appeal of landscapes in accordance with Lēʻahi Landscaping’s sustainability values and practices. This position will focus on the upkeep of residential and commercial landscapes using all-electric equipment and eco-friendly techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding using electric-powered equipment and removal of debris.
• Load and unload heavy equipment or landscaping materials from vehicles.
• Collaborate with team members to successfully maintain client accounts.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition and stored securely.
• Report any issues or observations that might require the attention of the supervisor, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Maintain a professional attitude and rapport with fellow team members.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping required.
• Ability to perform physical labor and operate maintenance equipment and lift at least 75 lbs.
• Punctuality and professionalism.
• Embodies principles of equity and respect, actively opposing racism and any form of discrimination in the workplace.
• Eagerness to learn and adopt sustainable landscaping techniques.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
• Commitment to Lēʻahi Landscaping’s values of ecological preservation and technological innovation.
• Valid State ID or reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
