Laborer/Driver

Primary Responsibilities

- Assist in setup and teardown of structure tents, frames, and event systems.

- Install anchors, rigging, flooring, and support systems.

- Load and unload trucks with tents, poles, and equipment.

- Follow crew leader instructions on job sites.

- Work safely in fast-paced outdoor environments.

- Travel to event sites across Michigan and nearby states.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Operate company trucks (flatbeds or box trucks with trailers) when needed.

- Transport tent equipment to and from job sites.

- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

- Ensure loads are properly secured and compliant with DOT safety standards.

- Assist with warehouse staging and returns when driving is required.

Requirements

- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting 50–75 lbs repeatedly).

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

- Valid chauffeurs license.

- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak event seasons. Overtime opportunities are frequently available and compensated accordingly.

Preferred Experience

- Construction, labor, landscaping, or event setup experience.

- Experience with trailers, hauling, or commercial vehicles.

- Forklift experience a plus.

- Previous tent or event industry experience is a bonus but not required.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
