Laborer/Handyman

Job Title: Laborer/Handyman
SimCo Building & Remodeling is a locally owned company providing quality construction, remodeling, and repair services across the area. From small home projects to full builds, we take pride in doing the job right the first time.

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Laborer/Handyman to join our growing team. If you take pride in your work, show up ready to learn, and have a good attitude — we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with residential and light commercial construction and remodeling projects
• Perform general labor tasks including site cleanup, demolition, framing, and installations
• Handle basic repairs (drywall, painting, flooring, etc.)
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Load/unload materials and maintain a clean worksite
• Follow directions and work well with the crew and project managers

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman work preferred (but not required)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
• Be able to work independently on jobsites when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
