Laborer/Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laborer/Painter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and assisting with various construction-related tasks to ensure high-quality results on residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your energy and craftsmanship will contribute to transforming spaces and delivering exceptional results for our clients. Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and applying primer using hand tools and power tools
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes accurately using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or spray equipment
• Assist with construction tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, caulking, plastering, masonry, and concrete finishing to support renovation projects
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and ensure precise application of materials
• Use hand tools like hammers, saws, chisels, and measuring devices to complete various carpentry and repair tasks
• Perform maintenance on equipment and ensure all tools are in safe working condition
• Support demolition or restoration efforts by removing old materials and preparing sites for new finishes or structures
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or at heights using scaffolding or ladders

Experience

• Prior experience in construction painting or related trades such as industrial painting or remodeling is preferred
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for measurements and calculations
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment and welding is advantageous
• Knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques enhances quality workmanship
• Construction site experience including framing, masonry, plastering or renovation projects is highly valued
• Strong handyman skills including fixture installation, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco work, restoration or maintenance work are a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
