Laborer/Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Laborer/Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our excavation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, operating heavy machinery and trucks while supporting construction activities. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to efficient project completion. You will play a vital role in maintaining smooth operations on-site, utilizing your skills in equipment operation, trucking, and general labor to help us build quality infrastructure.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders to assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation.
• Drive dump trucks and other construction vehicles to transport materials safely across job sites.
• Assist with grading activities, ensuring proper material placement and compaction.
• Perform general labor tasks including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled trades as needed.
• Conduct utility locating to identify underground utilities during excavation, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Support construction operations by setting up work zones, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining equipment functionality.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.

Experience

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or similar machinery is highly preferred.
• Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with construction processes and safety standards.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is required for truck driving responsibilities.
• Knowledge of utility locating techniques and safety procedures is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with John Deere equipment or similar brands is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations including paving and general construction activities.
