Labourer/Driver

Our client, a prominent company in the marine manufacturing is looking for a Labourer/Driver to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in a busy fabrication shop with a variety of labouring duties
• Driving duties as required, ensuring materials and equipment are transported safely and efficiently
• Handling and working with steel as per the project's requirements
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks

Job Requirements:

• Experience in labouring, preferably in a marine or steel fabrication environment
• Fork lift licence
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience working with steel
• Strong work ethic and ability to work extended hours, including overtime
• Good physical stamina and capability to handle manual tasks
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Other info:

• 16/h Umb co standard 40 hours
• 24/h Umb co after 40 hours
• Opportunities for overtime
