Lady Barista

The Lady Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café. She plays an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and supporting smooth daily café operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, juices, and specialty beverages according to company standards
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all drinks
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment properly
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage supplies

Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle customer concerns or complaints politely and escalate when necessary
• Promote menu items, seasonal drinks, and special offers to customers

Cleanliness and Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and dining area
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Ensure cups, utensils, and workstations are properly cleaned and sanitized
• Assist in opening and closing procedures of the café

Cash Handling

• Process customer payments accurately using POS systems
• Handle cash, card transactions, and issue receipts properly
• Maintain accountability for cash float and daily sales reporting

Team Support

• Work closely with kitchen staff and service team for smooth operations
• Support inventory checks and stock receiving when needed
• Assist in training new staff if required

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in café operations is preferred
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage presentation
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Presentable, professional, and friendly personality
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)
• Flexible with shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 48 – 58 per week
