Position Title: Laminate Scheduler (on site)

Position Summary
The Laminate Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the production schedule for the Laminate Department. This position plays a critical role in ensuring on-time production flow, material availability, warehouse coordination, and cross-department communication between Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse.
This role focuses exclusively on laminate operations and serves as a key operational support position to drive efficiency, accuracy, and accountability within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain the daily and weekly production schedule for the Laminate Department.
- Coordinate job sequencing based on material availability, warehouse staging, and production capacity.
- Communicate directly with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse teams to ensure accurate job flow.
- Monitor job status, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Verify job packets for completeness (plans, colors, edge profiles, sinks, cutouts, hardware, etc.).
- Ensure material availability and warehouse readiness prior to release into production.
- Track production lead times and update stakeholders on schedule changes or delays.
- Maintain accurate scheduling data in Moraware, WebFox, or similar production management systems.
- Use Microsoft Outlook for internal communication, meeting coordination, and schedule updates.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve scheduling efficiency, on-time production, and warehouse utilization.
- Assist with workload leveling and capacity planning.
- Participate in daily production and warehouse coordination meetings as required.
- Maintain professional communication with internal departments at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in scheduling, production coordination, or operations support (manufacturing or construction environment preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for professional communication and scheduling.
- Experience using Moraware, WebFox, or similar ERP/scheduling systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Flexible schedule with availability for overtime.
- This is a fully on-site position. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in countertop fabrication, cabinetry, construction, or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with laminate production workflows and warehouse/logistics coordination.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
