Land Acquisition Associate

The ideal Land Acquisition Associate candidate will bring experience and passion to this role and our mission. They will be responsible for planning, identifying, coordinating, and managing solar and storage project prospects across utility and distribution scale projects, while interfacing with landowners, contractors, and CEP’s internal team.

Responsibilities

• Project prospecting activities including screening, mapping, and analysis.
• Interconnection process including analysis, application, study, and negotiations.
• Landowner relationships including identification, communication, and negotiations.
• GIS mapping, including use of ARCGis and other tools to support development
• Compilation, analysis and reporting of project, portfolio, and market data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• 1 to 3+ years of renewable energy project experience preferred
