Land Administration Supervisor

Crescent Energy is seeking multiple Land Administration Supervisors to join our Land Administration team.

The Land Administration Supervisor is responsible for leading a team tasked with capturing and maintaining all material Land Agreements in the company’s land management system, as well supporting Crescent’s Land teams and the broader asset teams in day-to-day activities throughout the normal course of business. This position reports to a Land Administration Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team priorities are aligned with Land Ops and Asset Team priorities in support of drilling programs, asset optimization, and commercial opportunity capture.
  • Set up and maintain records in company’s land management system for Leases, Contracts, Deeds, Title, and Surface agreements.
  • Analyze, interpret, and accurately capture key land provisions.
  • Assist in the processing of AFEs and payment requests as directed by Landman/Land Manager for assigned area of responsibility.
  • Facilitate balloting of partners and tracking of non-consenting parties.
  • Support Land with ad hoc projects and research requests as required.
  • Ensure critical obligations, expirations, and future payments are accurately captured on company eCalendar.
  • Ensure documents are recorded appropriately in relevant counties and that digital copies of documents are accurately housed in the Land DMS for future retrieval.
  • Analyze leasehold, ownership, contract, and surface data to support strategic decisions and operational planning.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within land data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support compliance and regulatory reporting as requested.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of data across multiple land management and enterprise systems.
  • Oversee team building and staff development to foster a positive culture of continuous improvement and growth.

Required Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Commerce, PLM, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in upstream land administration or similar roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of land agreements, lease provisions, and regulatory requirements in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience working with large data sets and land management systems (Quorum, Enverus, LandVantage, or similar).
  • Prior experience with SUAs and ROWs.
