Land Surveyor

Job Purpose:

The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting surveys to establish legal property boundaries, provide accurate measurements of land and construction sites, and prepare reports, maps, and drawings. The role ensures that all survey data supports design, construction, and legal requirements for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land and topographic surveys using appropriate instruments and technology (e.g., GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
  • Establish and verify property boundaries, levels, contours, and dimensions.
  • Collect, analyze, and record survey data to prepare accurate drawings, maps, and reports.
  • Calculating Quantity Cut and Fit
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project plans.
  • Perform site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare survey documents for submission to authorities and clients.
  • Ensure all survey work is performed in accordance with applicable laws, safety standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Land Surveyor in the construction/engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, etc.) and equipment (GPS, Total Station, Levels).
  • Strong knowledge of survey principles, methods, and legal regulations.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
