Land Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed surveys to capture site elevations, contours, and existing structures, ensuring accurate data collection for project planning.
• Set out control points, benchmarks, and gridlines on-site for excavation, foundation works, and structural elements as per design drawings.
• Transfer coordinates from design files to the site using advanced surveying instruments and ensure proper alignment with construction plans.
• Regularly check and verify site levels, ensuring that construction elements such as floors, walls, and columns align with the required elevations and tolerances.
• Conduct re-surveys to verify and adjust site layouts, levels, or alignments when discrepancies arise during construction.
• Update survey-related drawings in AutoCAD to reflect changes or corrections made during construction, providing accurate references for site teams.
• Utilize GPS systems, total stations, and other advanced surveying tools for accurate and efficient data collection and transfer.
• Coordinate closely with subcontractors and construction teams to address layout issues and ensure proper implementation of survey data in real-time.
• Manage and oversee all coordinate-related tasks in AutoCAD, including exporting, importing, and aligning data with project plans.
• Maintain proper records of control points, benchmarks, and site layouts, ensuring these are easily accessible for future reference or audits.
• Prepare survey reports and sketches to communicate findings and updates to engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and calibration to ensure accuracy and reliability of all surveying instruments.
• Assist in planning site work schedules by providing accurate data for excavation, concrete works, and other critical construction activities.
• Monitor the impact of construction activities on surrounding structures and provide updates to mitigate potential risks or deviations.
• Perform volumetric calculations for earthworks, backfilling, or material requirements based on survey data.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Autocad
• At least 3+ years of experience in high rise and mid rise buildings in the UAE
