Land Surveyor / Building Surveyor

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for executing precise topographic and construction surveys, setting out works, and coordinating with engineers, consultants, and authorities to ensure all surveying and NOC processes meet Dubai regulatory standards. The role demands accuracy, strong technical knowledge, and excellent coordination skills for high-rise, infrastructure, and mixed-use development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct topographic and construction layout surveys for building foundations, utilities, and finishing works.
  • Ensure accurate site measurements and verify control points, levels, and benchmarks in accordance with IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and authority representatives during inspections and approval stages.
  • Prepare and maintain survey reports, as-built drawings, and data records to company and authority standards.
  • Manage and follow up on NOC applications from relevant authorities, including but not limited to:
  • Dubai Municipality (DM)
  • RTA (Roads & Transport Authority)
  • DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority)
  • Etisalat / DU
  • Trakhees (Dubai Islands)
  • Dubai Civil Defense (DCD)
  • Conduct joint site surveys with consultants and third-party verifiers when required.
  • Ensure survey equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level) is well-maintained, calibrated, and fully operational.
  • Supervise assistant surveyors and ensure survey work is completed in line with project schedules.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE experience (preferably on high-rise or infrastructure projects).
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai construction regulations and authority NOC processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and surveying software/equipment.
  • Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Dubai Islands A or Nakheel-managed developments.
  • Trakhees or DEWA approved Surveyor certification.
  • Experience with infrastructure projects involving Etisalat, DU, drainage, or utility interface works.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D certification or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in preparing high-quality reports and managing authority correspondence.
  • Good command of English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
