Land Surveyor with Landscaping Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment to establish property boundaries, elevations, contours, and other site features.
• Perform boundary and easement surveys, as well as construction staking for landscape projects.
• Prepare and interpret maps, sketches, drawings, and reports to guide landscape design and construction activities.
• Collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate survey data into project designs.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, measurements, and calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Conduct site assessments and analysis to identify potential issues or constraints.
• Provide guidance and technical support to construction teams based on survey findings.
• Manage and coordinate survey field crews to ensure efficient and accurate data collection.
• Maintain surveying equipment and tools in proper working condition.
• Oversee preparation and submission of legal descriptions and survey reports.
• Liaise with governmental and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Participate in project meetings and provide survey-related insights and recommendations.
• Assist in developing and monitoring project timelines and budgets related to surveying works.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Stay updated with advancements in surveying technology and methodologies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Mandatory: Proven landscaping experience in the UAE.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in land surveying.
• Experience with total stations, GPS equipment, and other modern surveying tools.
• Good understanding of UAE municipal regulations and authority approval processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• UAE Driving License preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
