The purpose of the Land Use/Sanitation Technician is to perform professional work reviewing, interpreting, and enforcing zoning applications and codes and to provide technical information to the public on zoning, land use, non-metallic mining reclamation, and POWTS matters.
The Technician position is to perform the general duties and responsibilities assigned to the position; however, is not expected to perform with the same independence of direction and judgment on matters related to the position. This classification is an entry level class; employees may have only limited work experience and work under immediate supervision while learning the full range of job duties and tasks.
