Landcape Maintenance Crew Leader/Driver

Position Overview

Knoxville Leaf & Lawn is seeking a dependable, motivated Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader / Driver to lead a maintenance crew while actively working alongside the team. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality landscape services to our clients.

The Crew Leader is responsible for driving company vehicles, managing daily job assignments, supervising crew members, and ensuring all work meets company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive company trucks, trailers, and equipment to and from job sites
• Lead and supervise a 2–4 person maintenance crew
• Perform routine landscape maintenance including:
• Mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing
• Shrub pruning and shaping
• Mulch installation
• Seasonal cleanups
• Weed control and bed maintenance
• Ensure properties are serviced efficiently and to company quality standards
• Communicate clearly with clients when needed in a professional manner
• Train and mentor crew members
• Complete daily job logs and report any property concerns or equipment issues
• Maintain equipment and ensure trailers are organized and job-ready
• Enforce safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
• 3+ years landscape maintenance experience preferred
• Prior crew leadership experience strongly preferred
• Ability to back trailers and operate commercial landscape equipment
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable and punctual
