Description
The Landscape Account Manager/Designer must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of landscaping to include: customer service, estimating, production, etc. They will oversee the maintaining of accounts on a daily basis while interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. They must also interface with the, Maintenance Crews and Supervisors, Landscape Development Managers, Lawn and Tree Care Team, Irrigation Team and Accounting personnel. This position will require that you work as a Landscape Designer for projects requiring design for landscaping projects and masonry work.
Responsibilities
- Managing of existing estate maintenance accounts
- Find and Sell enhancement jobs and services, such as fine gardening packages, annual flower programs, lawn/shrub health care programs, handyman services, masonry work, holiday decorating, etc…
- Interfaces with client and ensures that all clients concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Replies to all emails and phone calls in a reasonable amount of time
- Responsible for getting enhancement crews out in the morning with their daily tasks and making sure all jobs are in good standing order and that the crew foreman understands their tasks for the entire team.
- Responsible for enhancing jobs and making sure crews perform tasks as contracted with clients and making sure all is completed professionally and accurately.
- Maintains Status Reports. A Property Status Report must be implemented, whereas the client, and the director of Morano Group receives a copy of inspection report detailing overall condition of the property and any possible opportunities that must be addressed. This must be done for each account once per month.
- Develop new business/accounts and prepare maintenance proposals and or project proposals for the owners to review.
- Ensures that vendor pricing is competitive and accurate.
- Ensures that accounts are scheduled and maintained properly.
- Ensures that accounts are at or under budget.
- Identifies enhancements needed on accounts and coordinates with client
- Processes all change orders and ensures they are priced and processed correctly.
- Interfaces with subcontractors used on the account to ensure timely and accurate completion of their work.
- Interfaces with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of plants and materials.
- Interfaces with company crew members to ensure job specification and clients expectations are met and that account is on budget.
- Ensures that company quality and production standards are met.
- Ensures that all safety procedures are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to supervisors and owners..
- Ability to problem solve and multitask Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through problem-solving capabilities
Qualifications
- Has a minimum of five years’ experience in the green industry
- Has a valid driver’s license
- Is proficient in both oral and written communications
- Is proficient in QuickBooks, MS Word, MS Excel and Aspire
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
- Maintains a clean and professional appearance at all times
Job Type: Full-time
- $75k-95+k is base salary. Experience dependent

Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
2 Saturday’s per month 8:00 am to 3:30pm during our season March – December and at any time you have an ongoing project.
