Landscape and Hardscape Crew members

Job Overview: We are looking to add full-time experienced landscape or hardscape crew members. A crew member is an experienced person who works with fellow crew members and the crew leader to complete projects. A crew member must be able to operate a variety of equipment and tools as well as have working knowledge of landscape, hardscape, or construction practices.

Landscape Crew Member – Responsibilities:

· Installing new landscapes-plants and lawns

· Spring and Fall maintenance-mulching, pruning, trimming, bed edging

· Pond maintenance

· Snow removal (in Winter)

Hardscape Crew Member – Responsibilities:

· Installation of Hardscape projects-patios, decks, outdoor kitchens, fire features, walkways, & retaining walls

· Concrete countertops

· Water feature installation-ponds, fountains, waterfalls

· Light masonry work

· Snow removal (in Winter)

Requirements:

· Minimum of 1 year experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction

· Current driver’s license (Must have possessed for a minimum of 3 years)

· Clean driving record

· Use hand and power tools effectively

· Demonstrate self-motivation

· Effective time management skills

· Basic math skills

· Be able to work well with others

· Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills

· Understand and follow oral and written instructions

· Must be a team player – ability to see big picture – coordinate your day to get work done correctly and efficiently and be able to help elsewhere if needed

Preferences:

· Posess or ability to possess DOT medical card

· CDL (preferred but not required)

· Ability to effectively operate a variety of machinery

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
