Role Overview
The Landscape Architect is responsible for overseeing, reviewing, and coordinating landscape design and site implementation to ensure compliance with approved masterplans, detailed drawings, specifications, and project requirements. The role bridges
design intent and site execution
, ensuring constructability, quality, sustainability, and coordination with all disciplines on mega construction projects.
Key Responsibilities

landscape design implementation from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with approved vision, regulations, client requirements, and sustainability goals.

Review and validate landscape masterplans, detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and planting schedules for compliance and constructability.

Manage and coordinate landscape work packages throughout design development and construction stages, resolving site and design issues proactively.

Conduct site analyses to assess environmental, cultural, functional, and operational constraints influencing landscape solutions.

Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, MEP, Irrigation, BIM, HSE, and QA/QC teams to ensure full interdisciplinary integration.

Review contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and samples related to landscape works.

Respond to RFIs and provide technical clarifications to support site execution and maintain program alignment.

Prepare technical reports, gap analyses, value engineering proposals, and optimization recommendations to enhance performance and constructability.

Support CSC inspectors during inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and handover activities.

Verify progress, quantities, and milestones related to landscape works and contribute to project reporting and as-built documentation.
Design & Technical Control

Ensure alignment between IFC drawings, BIM models, and site installations.

Identify design clashes, constructability issues, and propose technically sound solutions.

Coordinate revisions and ensure timely issuance of updated drawings.

Report to the Landscape Discipline Lead / Resident Engineer.

Coordinate with CSC inspectors, PMC, client representatives, and contractors.

Follow CSC reporting lines, approval authorities, and Aconex protocols.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in landscape architecture; 10+ years on large urban or park projects in the Middle East.
• Proven sustainable landscape and green-building expertise.
• Deep knowledge of local/international landscape codes.
• Excellent communication and leadership in stakeholder workshops.
