Ed Sr. started the company himself out of Lake Bluff, IL in 1997 after working in the field for 20 years. Eddie joined the family business in 2016 after graduating from Iowa State in Agricultural Business and began working with the crews on a daily basis. After going back to school for landscape design, his main focus has been on bringing new and exciting ideas to customer’s outdoor living spaces! With a team of over 50 employees, we remain committed to a family feel workspace while having the ability to handle jobs of all sizes.

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and energetic Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing captivating landscapes, collaborating with clients and contractors to bring visionary outdoor environments to life, as well as attracting your own clients to Dearborn Group.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive landscape designs using up to date landscape programs and/or highly detailed hand drawings.
• Determine clients dreams and goals and help make them into reality
• Prepare construction documents for our construction team
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic goals.
• Assist through project execution from concept through construction estimating.
• Meet monthly and yearly sales quotas

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape architecture or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Solid understanding of horticulture practices, landscaping techniques, and hardscape construction
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong drafting skills with attention to detail in drawings and construction documents.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, and our internal teams.

Pay: $79,465.97 - $150,000.00 per year
