Landscape Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively with experienced construction professionals.

Duties

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including preparing materials and tools.
• Support in the installation and construction of various outdoor features.
• Help with Foundations, installation of pavers, retaining walls, decks, lighting, plants, etc.
• Read and interpret basic plans to assist in project planning and execution.
• Operate equipment as needed, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to build structures according to specifications.
• Support project foreman in completing their daily job duties.

Experience

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Familiarity with hardscape, carpentry or landscape installation techniques is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment and proper operation..
• A strong understanding of construction safety practices is essential.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
