Colleague is currently looking for a Landscape Business Developer in the Dallas, TX. The Business Developer will be working for a Landscape company. This would be a full-time, direct hire opportunity. A landscape maintenance business development professional is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for the company. This role involves building relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and presenting the company's services in a compelling manner.
*MUST HAVE at least 2-3 Years of Maintenance Landscape Experience
Key responsibilities may include:
· Researching and identifying potential clients in the target market
· Contacting potential clients to introduce the company's services and schedule meetings to discuss their needs
· Conducting site visits to assess the client's landscape maintenance requirements
· Collaborating with the operations team to develop customized proposals and quotes for potential clients
· Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients to secure new business
· Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues
· Developing and maintaining a pipeline of potential clients to ensure a steady flow of new business opportunities
· Attending industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and generate leads
· Keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
· Providing regular reports and updates to management on business development activities and results.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of the landscape maintenance industry, and a proven track record of successfully securing new business. A background in sales or business development is typically required, along with a passion for landscaping and outdoor environments. A bachelor's degree in business, horticulture, marketing, or a related field may also be preferred.
