Landscape Commercial Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Landscape Project Manager to join our commercial landscaping team in Houston, Texas. This role is responsible for managing commercial landscape construction and enhancement projects from pre-construction through final completion while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to client expectations.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in commercial landscaping, construction management, crew leadership, scheduling, and client communication. This individual must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial landscape construction and enhancement projects from start to finish
  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, manpower, equipment, and material coordination
  • Supervise field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution
  • Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, specifications, and contracts
  • Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Coordinate with clients, property managers, architects, and internal operations teams
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company quality standards
  • Manage procurement and scheduling of materials, plants, irrigation components, and hardscape products
  • Prepare project updates, reports, change orders, and progress documentation
  • Identify and resolve project challenges proactively
  • Monitor labor productivity and project costs to maintain profitability
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
  • Support estimating, project planning, and business development efforts when needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial landscape construction or project management
  • Strong knowledge of commercial landscaping, irrigation, drainage, grading, hardscape, and site development
  • Experience managing multiple large-scale commercial projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Must Have valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Education

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
