Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of landscape and construction workers to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion
• Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, gardening, pruning, planting, and soil preparation
• Manage construction tasks such as site preparation, installation of features, fencing, hardscaping, drainage, excavation and irrigation systems
• Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry regulations; conduct regular safety briefings and inspections
• Provide mentorship and training to crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and best practices in horticulture and tree care
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure project specifications are met or exceeded

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, or horticulture with a focus on quality results
• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of construction processes related to landscape projects including site prep and hardscaping
• Familiarity with tree care practices and irrigation system installation/maintenance
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
• Knowledge of safety standards related to landscaping equipment and construction tools
• Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and adapt plans as needed for project success

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
