Landscape Construction Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping construction team in delivering high-quality landscape construction services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of landscaping practices. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping projects while supervising team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members in landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Manage resources effectively to meet deadlines.
• Perform landscape installations, including planting, irrigation setup, and hardscaping.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; report any issues promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in landscape practices, including use of: heavy equipment, chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
• Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Ability to work with Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Subcontractors to stay on schedule and budget.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and maintenance techniques.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.

Must have the ability to work outside in all environments and perform a physically demanding job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Skilled verifiable Landscape Foreman: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
