Landscape Construction Foreman/Team Leader

Bay Area Sprinkler & Landscape is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Landscape Construction Crew Leader to join our team. The Opportunity: Lead, Build, and Transform

In this leadership role, you will manage a crew and be the primary point person responsible for the successful execution of high-quality construction projects from start to finish. You will be a key player in:

• Hardscape Construction: Directly supervising and executing the installation of structural elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens.
• Softscape Installation: Overseeing the preparation, grading, drainage, planting, sod/turf installation, and complex irrigation systems.
• Project Leadership: Managing on-site workflow, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality and safety.
• Client & Management Communication: Serving as the main contact for clients and management regarding on-site progress, changes, and material needs.

Your Skills and Experience:

To excel in this challenging role, you must demonstrate the following:

• Experience Required: 5+ years of proven, hands-on experience in the landscape construction industry.
• Dual-Skill Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in both hardscape construction (pavers, stone, block walls) and softscape installation (planting, irrigation, grading, drainage).
• Leadership: 2+ years of experience in a Crew Leader or Foreman capacity, managing 2-5 person crews.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret landscape architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating commercial construction and landscape equipment (skid steers, excavators, trenchers, etc.).
• Commitment to Quality: An unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety compliance, and outstanding customer service.
• License & Records: Valid state-issued driver's license, a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced irrigation technologies (drip systems, smart controllers).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Certifications related to hardscaping (e.g., ICPI, NCMA).
