Landscape Construction Laborer

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a landscape construction laborer
• "Crew Lead" Experience Preferred
• Understanding of landscape construction concepts, practices and procedures related to the irrigation, water management, lighting, and plant identification
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalently
• Deep knowledge of Landscape and Irrigation trade
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
• Polite, friendly personality as you may be required to greet/speak with clients
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions
• Great attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.Native plant knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

• Install plants and trees
• Communicate with Supervisor on progress of tasks
• Perform physically demanding installation work on a consistent basis
• Ability to read and execute drawings for installs
• Read material lists, guidelines, and timelines
• Work safely and train others in safe practices
• Operation of a variety of hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Represent the company's best interest at all times
• Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
