Landscape Construction Laborer

We're looking for a skilled, dedicated and hard-working Landscape/Construction laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and can work well in a team setting.

The Landscape/ Construction laborer is responsible for a variety of tasks to assist with the completion of landscape construction projects.

Job duties for our landscape/construction laborers:

• Prepare sites for land and hardscape installations
• Install hard and softscape materials
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks
• Assist in the construction of stone walls, paver walkways/patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape projects
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers and lay sod
• Operates as part of a crew with supporting Crew Leader
• Flexibility and ability to switch gears when needed

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape construction preferred, but willing to train the right person
• Ability to perform physical labor (repeated bending, kneeling, lifting)
• Experience with construction machinery helpful, but not required
• Valid Maine driver’s license and reliable way to work
• Dependability and adherence to work schedule
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment, while aiming to meet job deadlines.

* Pay compensation is dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
