Landscape Construction Laborer

Artisan Hardscapes LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Hardscape Laborer to join our team. As a Hardscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and installation of various hardscape features, such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of hardscape features, including excavation, leveling, and compacting.
• Mix and prepare materials, such as concrete, mortar, and grout.
• Set and align stones, pavers, or other hardscape materials according to specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and compactors.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hardscape installation or related field preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic construction techniques and materials.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in hardscape installation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
