Duties

• Assist with the installation of irrigation systems using hand tools and power tools
• Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and leveling soil with equipment like excavators or manual tools
• Plant plants and trees
• Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping machinery such as excavators and power tools
• Experience with lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, and horticulture practices
• Proficiency in using hand tools for various construction tasks
• Knowledge of tree and plant care including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
• Ability to follow safety procedures while working with construction equipment and during landscaping activities
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems, and hardscape installation
