Maxwell Landscape Construction is a premier outdoor construction firm delivering high-end residential and select commercial projects throughout Atlanta. We partner with architects, builders, and discerning homeowners to build complex, design-driven outdoor environments.

We are hiring a Project Manager to lead construction execution from contract to completion.

This is a field-based leadership role responsible for schedule, budget, quality, and client communication.

Primary Objective

Deliver projects on time, on budget, and at or above target gross margin while maintaining a premium client experience.

What You Will Own

Manage projects from signed contract through final walkthrough
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
Coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and inspections
Oversee material procurement and delivery timing
Monitor job cost, labor productivity, and margin performance
Conduct regular site visits and quality inspections
Lead weekly internal project meetings
Communicate consistently with clients, architects, and builders
Manage change orders and scope adjustments
Ensure clean documentation in Buildertrend (or equivalent PM software)
Identify risks early and solve problems proactively

You are accountable for execution. Not just activity — results.

Financial & Operational Responsibilities

Protect target gross margins
Track committed costs vs. actuals
Approve subcontractor invoices
Control schedule slippage
Reduce rework and warranty issues
Deliver accurate job forecasts

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of project management experience in landscape construction, hardscape, sitework, or related construction field
Experience managing projects $100K–$1M+
Strong understanding of grading, drainage, hardscape, irrigation, lighting, and plant installation
Ability to read plans and construction drawings
Experience coordinating subcontractors
Strong client communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and decisive
Comfortable using project management software
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

This is not a crew lead position. This is a management role.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $75,000–$95,000, based on experience
Performance-based bonus potential tied to project margin and performance
