Landscape crew lead

Job Summary
Join our Johns island local Landscape maintenance team and work at some of the most beautiful properties in Charleston!

The Landscaping Crew Leader position is responsible for managing and completing with the highest quality the daily production schedule for assigned customers, which may include, but are not limited to:

• Manage a crew of 2-3 employees
• Participate in the execution of all work orders with crew members
• Consistent updates with management using our communication processes
• Actively educate crew members in proper landscaping practices
• Properly document expenses for all jobs
• Maintains assigned equipment and reports deficiencies to field supervisor
• Operates all equipment and vehicles and a safe manner
• Interacts with clients and vendors with a professional and positive demeanor at all times
• Ensures all work is completed in a high standard
• Other duties as assigned
• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and garden design.
• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control.
• Familiarity with construction practices related to landscape installation and hardscape features.
• Expertise in tree care practices such as pruning, cabling, or removal when necessary.
• Ability to operate irrigation systems and perform basic repairs or adjustments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively and ensure safety standards are maintained. Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
